GAMO is currently developing a virtual cyber marketplace, CYBER PLACE, which aims to connect services, education and awareness raising in the field of cyber security. In order to best tailor the platform to the needs of future users, we decided to find out what features and capabilities the new cyber platform should not lack from the perspective of the users themselves.

I would focus primarily on the accessibility and quality of the content, clearly and regularly updated information that is relevant. I would appreciate it if the portal offered not only theoretical suggestions, but also practical forms of learning such as hands-on exercises or labs. Feedback from other users is also important – community reviews and experiences, practical tutorials and video tutorials that would show how to properly secure different systems (Windows, Linux, firewalls, VPNs) and configure security measures such as IDS/IPS or SIEM.
If I were to consume cybersecurity information from one place, I would certainly expect to find up-to-date vulnerability and CVE logs on the portal, which would allow me to quickly familiarize myself with new threats. Also important for me are regular updates on new security threats, such as zero-day vulnerabilities or ransomware attacks, and quick reports on current cyber campaigns.
Matej Krempaský, IT Administrator, Security Manager, KÚPELE LÚČKY a. s.
If I were to consume cybersecurity information from one cyber platform, I would expect to find quality, validated information there that I can rely on. I would certainly appreciate news and current trends in security as well as comparisons and reviews of security products, both hardware and software. I would also be interested in effective and efficient solutions, especially in terms of price/performance ratio. Case studies or real stories from the IT world would be another valuable contribution to help better understand the practical aspects of security solutions.

It is important that a trusted and reputable company is behind the new portal and that there is a cybersecurity guarantor to ensure the quality and accuracy of the information. The portal should not lack information about the guarantors, current threats, and model situations aimed at naming current cyber risks. Also of interest would be e-learning courses and regular articles that would provide users with always up-to-date and relevant information on cybersecurity.
